Worship Band - Sun. 5:00 p.m.
Contemporary Spirit-filled worship is the aim of the 5:00pm Sunday youth liturgy, and the primary agent of enhancing the Mass is the music. This liturgy is aimed at aiding the youth and young-at-heart adult faithful in making a unique expression of worship by leading energetic and prayerful worship in song at this Mass. The Worship Band works hand-in-hand with youth ministry to use the Mass as a part of the faith formation of the youth at Emmaus. Currently, membership in the Worship Band is open to those who commit to rehearsal and dedication to excellence in ministry. Please contact the Worship Band Director for more information. Band of Angels - Sun. 10:00 a.m. Traditional Choir
Our traditional choir encourages all to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord." All one needs is a desire to sing and the willingness to make a commitment. The choir sings at the Sunday Mass and on most major Church feast days. Joining the choir opens up a door to meeting new folks plus experiencing the joy, excitement and satisfaction of praising our Lord through our love of music and song. We are singers and musicians using our talents to help the worshipping community to fully participate in and experience the liturgy. If you enjoy praising the Lord in song, and if you sing or play an instrument, drop in on our weekly rehearsals at 3:30 p.m. in the church and join us. Meeting time is 3:30 - 6:15 p.m. on Saturdays.
